Fresh Prince of Belair… Snitch Style!
Now this is the story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I’d liked to take a minute, don’t move an inch
I’ll tell you how I became a snitch in the game called Quidditch
In south east England born and raised
On the sports field is where I spent most of my days
Chillin’ out, maxin’, relaxing all cool,
And playing some football when not at school
When a couple of guys, they were playing on brooms
Started throwing quaffles through some hula hoops
I got one look and new this cool sport’s for me
I said “I’m playing muggle Quidditch, now sign me up please!”
I begged and pleaded with others for a day
But they thought I was weird and told me not to play
I gave them a chance but I saw them all brick it
I put on my tutu on and said I might as well kick it
First thing, first this is mad
Playing rugby and dodgeball, lacrosse and tag
Is this what all the quidkids do with their time?
Hmm, this might be alright
But wait I hear the snitch runner just runs around
They don’t have rules, use weapons and take-downs
I think I’ll apply, play when I get there
I hope they’re prepared for the snitch of Hampshire
Well I travelled all the way up to try-outs
There was an awesome bunch of people who cleared all of my doubts
We played all day in the burning sun which was weird
I sprang with the quickness like lightning disappeared
I made some new friends who were nerds just like me
Talking about StarKid and our pal Harry
If anything I can say that these people owned pitch
And I’m so glad I decided to join in Quidditch
I started training, building my strength and speed
This sport soon became my only want and need
I looked at my life, thought I must be a witch
Cos it felt just like Hogwarts, playing Quidditch
